Home-made Pizza Tips

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions in Australia we are very sad that we cannot feed you at the local markets or enjoy some Pizza in the Park. We have therefore, decided to help you with your journey to make your own pizzas at home a little easier and tastier.

Since March 2020, most of us have been at home staying safe and trying to keep the kids and ourselves distracted with time consuming and delicious tasks. We also noticed flour and yeast missing from the shelves which have led us to believe that everyone is at home baking and hopefully making their own beloved pizzas.


The idea of making your own pizza dough can be daunting, but do not fret it is actually pretty simple, and with a few ingredients you can make one of the most loved foods in the world.


Flour, water, yeast, salt and a dash of oil is all you need! We suggest using websites like: http://www.pizzacreator.net/ to get your measurements right and if you combine them with our home made pizzas tips you'll be on your way to making delicious pizza that you and your family can enjoy.


Our tips will cover answers to questions like "what happens when you add too much flour while kneading your dough?" or "What do I do now? My pizza isn't round!" and "How long do I need to let me pizza dough rest before I cut it and shape it?"....


Pizza is fun, it is delicious and great to experiment with. It's also great to share and bring people together. So even if you haven't thought of making your own just give it a go - you won't be disappointed.
